Mothercare, Ireland’s leading maternity and nursing retail outlet chain, has moved its electricity supply to green renewable energy with Energia in a renewed supply deal. Under the terms of the renewed deal, Energia will supply electricity to 22 Mothercare sites including St Stephen’s Green, Carrickmines, Blanchardstown Shopping Centre, Eyre Square, Crescent Shopping Centre Limerick, Mahon Point Cork and M1 Retail Park Drogheda, in a deal worth over Eur300,000.
Added to this deal, Mothercare has added to its CSR values by choosing to use green renewable energy from Energia. Energia has contracted 25% of all wind energy generated in Ireland making it the single largest source of green power.

Energia has a 28% market share of the Irish business electricity and gas market supplying the energy needs of over 65,000 business customers, including over one in every three shops.
