UCD Michael Smurfit Graduate Business School has appointed Aidan Heavey, chief executive of Tullow Oil, to its Irish Advisory Board. Aidan Heavey, who is a UCD Business School graduate, will join the board in providing experience, influence and direction in an effort to ensure the success of students at the School.
Aidan Heavey has played a key role in the development of Tullow Oil from its formation in 1985, to its current international status as a leading independent oil and gas exploration and production group. He is also a director of Traidlinks, an Irish-based charity established to develop and promote enterprise and diminish poverty in the developing world, particularly Africa.
