National and International Corporate Responsibility Experts to Convene at CR Summit in Dublin, November 2010

Business in the Community Ireland (BITCI) is hosting a major summit on corporate responsibility in Dublin in November 2010. The one day conference entitled ‘Transforming to a Sustainable Business’ takes place on the 18th November at Aviva Stadium. With 20 national and international speakers already confirmed it will be the most comprehensive conference held on the topic of corporate responsibility in Ireland to date.

Confirmed speakers include Sir Stuart Rose, executive chairperson, Marks and Spencers; Natale Ricciardi, senior vice president of Pfizer; Rosheen McGuckian, group corporate development director, NTR; Chris Tuppen, chief sustainability officer, BT Group; and Dr Werner Kruckow, chief execuitive of Siemens.

Delegates at the Summit will hear examples of how leading companies are looking at sustainability not as an aspiration or a risk management exercise but as a competitive advantage to capture the customers and markets of the future. This landmark event takes place as part of BITCI’s annual National Corporate Responsibility Week: Monday 15th–Friday 19th November 2010.
