Leading business energy provider Energia has re-signed a deal to provide electricity to the Deanes group of restaurants in Belfast.
The deal will see Energia supply energy to Deanes’ seven outlets in the city. Michael Deane has revolutionised eating-out in Belfast and has held a Michelin Star for 12 years, a record on the island of Ireland. James Devine (Sous Chef at EIPIC) was crowned National Chef of the Year 2017. Deanes EIPIC has retained its Michelin Star and Deanes At Queens once again has been awarded a Michelin Bib Gourmand.
Michael Deane, Restaurateur said: “We’ve been a customer of Energia since 2009. We need to find the best suppliers in the marketplace, so every year we check but Energia consistently offers the best value for money and customer service. Our 2016 contract delivered savings of £20,000 over the previous contract. Their advice on energy efficiency products and options as well as information on grant funding is also knowledgeable and useful.”
Daniel Boyle, Energia commented: “We’re always delighted to keep businesses like Deanes as Energia customers. Long-term relationships like this are an essential part of our business success that sees us supply over 60,000 Irish businesses with gas and electricity.”
“Energia also offers excellent customer service, and with Energia online, customers can simply log on to a secure system and get unlimited access to analyse and interrogate their energy consumption, discover usage patterns and produce reports.”
“We also support businesses through innovative energy programmes like Energia’s ‘Cash for Kilowatts’ scheme that provides grant funding to companies for energy efficiency projects. It means that any company carrying out an energy efficiency project can qualify for grant funding based on the amount of energy they save.”
As well as benefiting from the generous funding, businesses will also make very significant ongoing savings through the energy efficiency projects. For example:
· Lighting: LED and high efficiency lighting can reduce your lighting costs by up to 75%
· Heating: a new boiler or heating controls can save over 25% of your annual fuel costs
· Refrigeration: new systems can reduce your costs by up to 30%
