Solar AdTek partners with Iarnród Éireann and Commuter Advertising Network to create significant energy savings
Solar AdTek, the leading developer and supplier of innovative solar powered and LED lighting systems for outdoor advertising, has completed an upgrade of the lighting in advertising displays across the CIE’s Out of Home advertising estate.
Solar AdTek’s bright LED lighting with smart controls replaced fluorescent tubes in bus and rail station advertising displays nationwide. This lighting technology generates energy and carbon savings of 78%. The new system provides pro-rata savings on electricity costs and the reliable long life of LED lighting will significantly reduce maintenance costs. Solar AdTek with installation partners, Global Rail Services, completed the lighting installation, across all Iarnród Éireann stations in May 2018.
