AmbiSense, the DCU spinout company, was in attendance at the recent 2015 Cleantech Summit in Rotterdam. The event showcased the most promising Cleantech companies from an investment perspective currently operating in Europe. The summit has seen entrepreneurs successfully raise over €800m in the previous 4 editions of the event.
Companies were selected to attend by leading investors whose role it is to wade through the hundreds of applications to find the companies that represent the best investment opportunities. Each of the chosen companies presented to over 70 leading European investors.
During the event, 5 companies were awarded for best presentation, including Ambisense. As a result the company has been selected to receive a prestigious presenting slot at the European Venture Summit on 7 & 8 December in Dusseldorf, Germany.
The European Venture Summit, now in its 9th year is Europe’s foremost networking and investment event for high growth technology start-ups, venture capital investors and technology corporations. It offers fledgling companies like AmbiSense the opportunity to grow businesses across borders and engage directly with Europe’s most active investors across investor-types.
During the two-day summit, AmbiSense will be among 100+ innovative ICT, Life Sciences and Cleantech companies from across Europe. Ambisense will make a presentation to an international audience of investors, key corporates and innovation experts in a bid to explain their innovative technology, its scalability and business potential.
