Enva is pleased to announce the integration of fellow DCC plc subsidiary Clearpower into its environmental services portfolio. This compliments and broadens the Enva offering to include a closed loop resource recovery service for the collection and processing of waste organic materials to produce valuable fertiliser and biofuel. Clearpower has been a leader in the treatment and management of waste sludges and organics for over 12 years across Ireland and into the UK.
Clearpower Environmental Services division has been rebranded as the Organics and Land Services division of Enva. The division delivers long term contracts for leading water companies, municipalities and industrial customers, offering deep expertise in the processing of wastewater sludges and food waste into recognised fertiliser products. Our solutions solve issues for the waste producer while at the same time delivering valuable products for sustainable re-use.
The division currently manages over 100,000 tonnes of sludges and slurries per annum, via a network of registered storage facilities, and an established land-bank of approximately 10,000 hectares. We work closely with our large partner farmers in a tightly regulated environment, and each of our project managers is a fully certified fertiliser advisor.
The addition of the Organics and Land Services division to the Enva Water & Effluent and On-site Services divisions means that Enva can now offer a fully integrated suite of services for wastewater treatment plant operators, which is unique to the Irish wastewater treatment market. This covers plant chemical supply, sampling, laboratory analyses, tank cleaning, underground survey and repair, equipment supply and financing, as well as sludge dewatering and removal. By offering a complete suite of services that work in unison, and considering the overall process flow through the WWTP, Enva can now deliver cost-efficiencies and improved plant performance in a measurable way, saving our clients money while reducing operational difficulties and improving compliance.
