The Department of Jobs, Enterprise and Innovation recently published a Progress Report on Growth and Employment in the Green Economy.
The Progress Report is an update on developments in the Green Economy in Ireland since the publication last year of Delivering Our Green Potential, the Government’s Policy Statement on Growth and Employment in the Green Economy. The Policy Statement set out the actions the Government is implementing, or has committed to take, across a range of sectors that make up the Green Economy in Ireland.
The Progress Report highlights developments in the Green Economy in Ireland since the publication of Delivering Our Green Potential. It includes examples of enterprises and projects that are supporting and creating jobs, driving exports and improving competitiveness through activity in the Green Economy. It is important to note that many other companies are moving to develop and take advantage of opportunities in the Green Economy space.
