Atlas Copco Air & Gas Purification opens new production facility

Atlas Copco Air & Gas Purification has inaugurated its new production facility in Oosterhout, The Netherlands. The facility will provide custom engineered solutions for air and gas purification systems and biogas upgrading.

The 4000 m² facility operates according to lean manufacturing principles to design, manufacture and service custom engineered solutions for the oil and gas, petrochemical, marine, and wastewater treatment industries and can offer advanced technologies for use in biogas upgrading.

Atlas Copco’s ability to offer innovative air and gas treatment solutions helps its global customers to increase their productivity and to benefit from substantially lower energy consumption.

“Air and gas treatment, including nitrogen generation and biogas upgrading, are important growth segments for us,” says Rob van den Hout, General Manager, Atlas Copco Air & Gas Purification. “Through our new facility, we will be expanding our product and service offering in order to serve all our customers better and faster.”

The Air & Gas Purification facility in The Netherlands employs around 80 people and is a part of the Quality Air division within Atlas Copco Compressor Technique.
