Dublin Sustainable Business Challenge 2013 – Enter Now!

The competition will showcase businesses’ green initiatives across all industries as the foundation of Dublin’s emerging green economy. Green plans can range from more traditional ones to really out-of-the-box projects.

This year’s categories are Small Business of the Year (0-50 Employees) and Company of the Year (over 50 employees).

The competition will showcase businesses’ green initiatives across all industries as the foundation of Dublin’s emerging green economy. Finalists will gain valuable exposure to green experts, consumers, prominent business leaders and the media to help ignite the green economy.

Small Business of the Year
This award is open to any business employing fewer than 50 people. The judges are looking for a company that has implemented a green policy in its operations, reduced its environmental footprint while increasing the value of its offerings and that can act as a template for other small businesses across the city.

Company of the Year
This award will go to the business that has done the most to advance the green economy over the past 12 months. The judges are looking for an organisation that is committed to developing new and more sustainable ways of doing business. The winner will provide detailed evidence of the initiatives they are undertaking to reduce their environmental impacts, develop new green products, and/or promote the emerging low carbon economy.

Three companies from each category will be shortlisted and asked to tilt against our judges. Show us that you are the Greenest company in Dublin by entering now!

Entry & Competition Final Details

Competition Entry
Companies are required to complete this entry form (Closing Date: Tuesday, 5 November 2013).

The submitted forms will be reviewed independently by our panel of judges and a short list of entries will be announced on 14th November 2013.

Competition Final
The shortlisted companies will be invited to deliver a 5 minutes pitch to a panel of judges at the competition final which will take place at a special event on Thursday 28th November (6-9pm – City Wall Space, Wood Quay Venue, Dublin 2) followed by Q&A and the announcement of the winners.

Decision made by the judges will be final.
