The IWEA Annual Golf event will take place on Wednesday 5th October in the Killarney Golf and Fishing Club, on the Killeen Course which will host the Irish Open Championship 2011. We would like to take this opportunity to thank Transmission Links Ireland for sponsoring this event.
The Killeen course is very much the flagship course at the club. The Killarney lakes and high mountain range provide an imposing backdrop to this Championship course. The challenging golf is matched by the spectacular views with the 10th being a firm favourite where you are playing virtually onto the lake.
In addition:
• Fabulous lake views on the 1st, 2nd, 3rd & 4th holes.
• Spectacular par 3 on the 10th virtually playing onto the lake.
• Fabulous closing holes with excellent lake views.
• The 13th is a very tough Par 4, possibly the toughest hole on the course affectionately known as the ‘Tiger’ Hole.
