Industrial automation and manufacturing execution systems (MES) specialist Cimlogic will help explain how to cut utility costs and improve facilities management and productivity throughout the manufacturing sector, at a free webinar on Wednesday 30 July.
Cimlogic’s Practical Energy Management for Manufacturers webinar is aimed at Operations and Sustainability Managers within manufacturing companies in all sectors. It has been organised to address how businesses can take a practical approach to significantly lower the consumption of energy and utilities needed for manufacturing operations.
The 45 minute-long session will guide attendees through how they can measure usage of utilities such as gas, electricity and water in real time through IT systems. The webinar will be offered twice on 30 July – at 10am and 3pm – with a live Q&A session at the end of each session. Attendees are invited to submit questions ahead of the webinar to be addressed during the sessions.
Fraser Thomson, MES Consultant at Cimlogic, will present the webinar. He says, “By identifying key business processes and real-time energy parameters we can substantially reduce utilities and time costs. We’ll explain how, by implementing energy monitoring and measurement systems, Sustainability and Operations Managers can help reduce downtime, electricity, and fuel usage, improve business efficiencies and ultimately save on costs.”
Cimlogic works with global household names in the food and beverage, medical devices, pharmaceutical and consumer packaged goods industries.
