Adding strength to the recent campaign by OFTEC calling for homeowners to consider upgrading their tanks to safer and more robust double-skinned or ‘bunded’ models, Kingspan has just launched free tank health check packs* for homeowners in Ireland as part of its #BetterOffBunded campaign.
With an estimated 700,000 homes in Ireland reliant on oil as their primary fuel source, Kingspan is calling upon homeowners to prioritise their tank health and check their current tank for any signs of disrepair.

Kingspan’s free tank health check packs include a downloadable check list, a mini torch, pen, notepad and magnifying glass to make it as easy as possible for homeowners to be tank aware.

“The checklist encourages people to score their tank using 12 vital markers which include sun bleaching, rusting, cracking, checking oil filters and valves.
